I have redness and itching around the outside of my vagina that is not related to any infection as per a swab test. I have been treated with antibiotics, creams, prednisone, and anti-inflammatory medications, but the symptoms persist. The itchiness started about a month ago, and my skin is red. I am currently using prednisone, celebrex, and silver cream. I am also diabetic, and my GP initially diagnosed the itch as cellulitis, prescribing antibiotics, which helped initially but then the symptoms returned.

I am 8 weeks pregnant and had a brown discharge this morning with no pain. I also had an internal ultrasound yesterday which showed everything was good, including a heartbeat of 161. Is this brown discharge normal, and should I be concerned?

I experienced severe abdominal pain after intercourse that radiated to my rectum and couldn't stand for a while. The pain is improving but I'm concerned about the possibility of a ruptured ovarian cyst causing internal bleeding. Should I go to the hospital, and what symptoms should I watch out for?

What does an ASC-US Pap, high-risk HPV positive but negative for types 16, 18, and 45, plus a colposcopy result of koilocytosis atypical-HPV cytopathic effect but no dysplasia or neoplasia detected, imply? How should I interpret the implications of this diagnosis, including the potential for HPV to clear on its own, the possibility of it going dormant, and the implications for future screenings and potential transmission?

I am 55 years old and have been post-menopausal for about 4 years after a hysterectomy, retaining my ovaries. I am experiencing severe symptoms including insomnia, hot flashes, lack of energy, anxiety, painful sex, mood swings, and dry skin. I tried 0.5 mg of estradiol for 10 days and felt significantly better, but I'm concerned about the risks of hormone therapy. My current doctor does not prescribe hormone therapy. What are the risks and benefits of continuing with hormone therapy, and what other options might be available for managing these symptoms?
