I want a hysterectomy due to heavy bleeding and low hemoglobin, but my doctor convinced me to try Mirena first. Now, I have CIN 2 lesions that are not yet diagnostic, and my doctor wants to do a LEEP procedure. I'm in school and finish in May. Can I wait until May to have the hysterectomy instead of doing the LEEP now?

I had my last menstrual cycle on October 31st. I had unprotected sex on November 1st and November 9th, and took the morning-after pill on November 10th. I then had a period on November 16th, which I assume was due to the emergency contraceptive. I took three home pregnancy tests on December 9th, 10th, and 12th, all of which were positive. Is it safe to assume I got pregnant after November 16th?

I am a 34-year-old woman with a history of hormonal imbalances, bi-polar II disorder, chronic anxiety, and a recent panic attack episode that exacerbated my symptoms. I have been experiencing low libido, vaginal atrophy, clitoral atrophy, and other related symptoms. I had the Mirena IUD removed two months ago, which has led to increased mood swings, depression, night sweats, and further clitoral shrinkage. I am currently on various medications and supplements, including Wellbutrin, Epitec, Ativan, Stillnox, Progynova, Folic Acid, Krill Oil, Vitamin D, Vagifem, and Premarin. I am concerned about the long-term effects of these symptoms and whether they can be reversed. I would like to know if my hormones will stabilize after the removal of the Mirena, how long it might take, and if there is any treatment that can help restore my clitoris to its normal size and function.

I had a normal mammogram in February. In April, during a routine exam associated with a Pap smear, my doctor pressed on my left armpit and it hurt. The right side showed no pain. My doctor ordered an ultrasound of my left breast for safety. I procrastinated until today and saw the monitor during the ultrasound. I am 150 pounds overweight and have stretch marks everywhere, including my breasts. Is it possible I was seeing tendons or scar tissue on the screen? Why did I put off the ultrasound for so long?
