I haven't gotten my period this week, which is unusual for me. I had unprotected sex on October 2 and used emergency contraception on October 12. I also started and stopped birth control earlier this year. Could I be pregnant, and how can I determine if my symptoms are due to pregnancy or something else?

I think I have a tumor. I noticed a hard growth in my inner thigh near my vagina that doesn't move and feels abnormal. I feel fine, eat normally, and have no issues with energy or pain. What could this growth be and should I be concerned?

The time before last when I had sex, it made my period come early, starting right during intercourse. This last time, I had sex and experienced bleeding a few hours later, which is 5 days early. Can I be pregnant even if my period comes? Could it be miscarriage signs? What could be causing this, and what is your advice?

My period ended last week and on two occasions I have had some very light, bright red spotting. I am 47 years old. I am also experiencing some twinging pain in my cervix. I had a colposcopy in September 2007 and a very minute abnormal pap. Any advice?

I was just diagnosed with a fibroid tumor the size of a 4-month-old fetus. I am 52 and have been in menopause for six years. The doctor said I will need a partial hysterectomy, leaving my ovaries due to the size and the fact that the tumor is trying to fall apart, causing some bleeding. This surgery would be performed by a scope if all goes well. I'm more afraid that if the procedure didn't work, I would undergo the full surgery and then later have bladder problems. Do you have any advice for me?

I keep getting recurring yeast infections. This is my 5th one in the past two months. No matter what I do, it keeps coming back. I've had yeast infections when I was young but would get them maybe once a year or less. I've been dealing with this on and off for almost 2 months now. It goes away then comes back. I haven't had a pap test or pelvic exam in 4 years and need to find a place to go to in my area that will take me without health insurance. My kidneys were inflamed and a cyst burst on one of them before these yeast infections started occurring, and I was taking antibiotics and pain medications for that. What can be done to prevent these recurring yeast infections?
