I want a hysterectomy due to heavy bleeding and low hemoglobin, but my doctor convinced me to try Mirena first. Can I wait until May to have the hysterectomy instead of doing the LEEP now?

I then had a period on November 16th, which I assume was due to the emergency contraceptive. I took three home pregnancy tests on December 9th, 10th, and 12th, all of which were positive. Is it safe to assume I got pregnant after November 16th?

I am trying to find a correlation between a pelvic exam and a high-risk pregnancy. The doctor did not perform any pelvic exams, and the patient entered preterm labor at 21 weeks. Are there any studies or research that support the necessity of pelvic exams, especially for high-risk patients? The patient complained of lower quadrant pain 10 days before going to the hospital. What made the pregnancy high risk, and why would a pelvic exam not be performed?
