I have a right side swollen area that has been getting bigger over the past few months. It sometimes speaks when pressed, and when it gets cold, it sometimes puffs out and hurts, while other times it seems normal. I initially thought it was due to lifting heavy stuff and pulling a muscle, but now I'm worried. The swelling is about 2 inches in size and is located near my right uterus. I am not on any prescribed medication, just vitamins and over-the-counter pain killers like Advil. I am 40 years old and experiencing really bad menstrual cramps that don't seem normal anymore.

I have a question about periods lasting longer than 7 days. I'm currently taking Aurovela as contraception. My period started on 1/17/21 and previously on 12/21/20. I'm 34 years old and not using any other medications. I started my birth control two days late this month. My cycle is usually normal, lasting 7 days, but this is the first time this has happened. I'm experiencing mild cramping, and the bleeding comes and goes.
