I recently experienced severe pain that led to a hospital visit where I was thought to have appendicitis but was sent home with no abnormalities. Since then, I've had blood-tinged discharge, pain, and a bleach-like smell, which has been recurring due to BV. I've had BV on and off all year, and my periods are abnormal, lasting up to two weeks. I've never had a pap test due to recurring BV. What could be causing these symptoms, and what should I do?

I had a hysterectomy on January 10th, 2020, and I keep spotting blood, sometimes pink but mostly brown, with some small clots. My doctor says it's weird and didn't want to do any other tests, sending me to a GI doctor instead due to blood in my poop and pee. My GI doctor found my colon to be fine but took a biopsy. My bleeding happens every 2 weeks for about 4 days, I can barely eat, and I am either constipated or having diarrhea, losing about 2 pounds a week. I am 35 years old, had a hysterectomy, and have a history of endometriosis. What could be causing this bleeding, and should I be concerned?

I have been on my period since early December 2009, bleeding through a super plus tampon every two hours consistently. My OB has done blood tests, an ultrasound, a biopsy, a pelvic exam, and given me birth control pills and hormones to try and stop it, but all tests were normal and no cancer was found. The next step suggested by my doctor is a D&C, but I want to avoid surgery due to potential staph infections and the high cost of the procedure. What might be causing this excessive bleeding, and what can I do to stop it?

Do I have Genital Herpes or could it be something else? I recently had a sexual encounter where a condom came off inside me, and a few days later, I started feeling itchy, stinging when urinating, and noticed bumps and split skin. I used an out-of-date canesten cream and have been feeling generally run down. I am trying to get an appointment at an STI clinic but may have to wait. What could be causing these symptoms?

I'm currently taking PEP for HIV prevention but am considering stopping due to side effects and reassessing the risk. Additionally, I have strep throat and am concerned about the impact of taking PEP alongside penicillin on my liver and kidneys. I was treated for BV a couple of weeks ago and was recently told I am fine, except for a skin issue that was treated with steroid cream. Today, I noticed a small amount of yellow-green discharge among mostly white discharge. I want to know if this is normal or if I should be concerned. I have had discharge for a while in general, but haven't paid much attention to the color. My last pap test was in February and was normal. I haven't had sex since November 2019 and have been checked since then. I do all the recommended preventive measures like using probiotics, cotton underwear, wiping front to back, and showering after exercise. Is there anything else I can do to prevent infections?
