I started going through menopause at age 43, not having had a cycle in almost two years, but my midsection has gotten larger and larger to the point that I continually get asked when the baby is due. I also have a lot of fatigue and irregular bowels. Is this normal? I also have dizzy spells. I was told this is part of the process. My Pap test and blood iron and sugar were also tested as normal. How long before I can get back to what I was as normal?

During my period, I am experiencing a discharge of tissue ranging from the size of a fingerprint to a teaspoon, severe cramps from my bellybutton to my lower abdomen, and heavier periods than before. I had my tubes tied 14 years ago. What could be causing this and what should I do?

I experienced severe palpitations that were the worst I've had, causing a choking sensation. I've had smaller episodes over the past two weeks. I'm 39 years old and currently taking dicyclomine and famotidine. Three weeks ago, I had steroid injections in my back. What could be causing these palpitations, and should I go to the emergency room?
