I have bumps that have appeared above my vagina and I’m concerned it’s herpes. I had an STD test done but haven’t gotten the results back. The bumps are getting worse, itchy, and pinkish in color. I’m not on any medications and I’m 24 years old. What could be causing this and what can I do to ease the pain/itching until I get my results?

I have a vulvar ulcer that started as a painless solid growth three years ago and has recently turned into an open, pus-filled ulcer after I squeezed it. I am an insulin-dependent diabetic and my husband is cleaning it with hydrogen peroxide and neosporin, but viscous lidocaine is not helping. What could the initial fleshy growth be, why did it turn into an ulcer after squeezing, and what should I do to manage it until I can see my gynecologist?

I had sex last week and my vulva was swollen and had discharge like cotton cheese, which went away. Two days ago, it started to itch, and now it is very swollen. What could be the cause, and what medication can I use to cure it?

I've had brown discharge and then vaginal itching. The discharge started around Friday and then there was bleeding like a period on Saturday. The discharge has no odor and is runny. I'm currently on my period, which comes monthly. I also experienced swelling and redness in the vaginal area. I thought I had a yeast infection and used Monistat one-day treatment. Did I mess up and make things worse?
