I have recurrent yellow discharge and foul-smelling symptoms, which I believe are related to bacterial vaginosis. I've been using boric acid vaginal suppositories and taking metronidazole, but the symptoms keep coming back. Will it show up in my blood work, and what can I do to prevent it from recurring?

I had unprotected sex 11 months ago and have experienced vaginal and anal irritation since then. I was vaccinated for Gardasil 4 about 10 years ago and have tested negative for various infections. My partner was also tested and was clean. I have a few concerns: 1) Could I still have genital warts after 11 months? 2) Once the pH in my vagina has gotten off, is it more likely to get off again in the future? 3) Why am I experiencing this irritation again, and once you get a fungal infection, are you more likely to get them again? 4) Is there any STD that can present symptoms like this 10-11 months after exposure?

I've been experiencing breakthrough bleeding for 4 to 5 days after starting a new birth control (Sprintec) after being off it for a few months. I started the pill on the day I was supposed to start my period, but it didn't come. I've been on the pill for 10 days now, and the bleeding has been heavy at times. What could be causing this and how long should I expect it to continue?
