I’ve been having bleeding in between periods, which includes both heavy bleeding and spotting, for about two months. I am sexually active, but there is no smell, it’s super watery, and there is no pain. I am not on any contraception. What could be causing this and what should I do?

I just took a pregnancy test and it was negative. It's been 26 days since my last period, which was July 20-26. I stopped using birth control pills in June and have been sexually active since my last period, unprotected. My periods have been irregular, and I'm unsure when my next one is supposed to be. Is the negative pregnancy test result conclusive, or should I take another test later?

I'm trying to get pregnant and have experienced shooting pains in my lower right abdomen, vomiting, and tender stomach. My last menstrual period was on July 17. My boyfriend and I have been trying to conceive since January, and I've had symptoms that made me think I was pregnant. I have dryness and vaginismus, and I started using Replens yesterday. I think I made a breakthrough and need to know if I'm resolving the problem. My symptoms started over the past year and are stable but extremely painful. I'm 49, peri-menopausal, and take psychiatric drugs that cause dryness in other areas. I'm still able to have intercourse with my husband but it's very painful to start with. What could be causing this and how can I manage it?
