If a girl had a urine pregnancy test 25 days post intercourse and it came up negative at a clinic, is this sufficient time for HCG levels to show? She is now pregnant and slept with other men after me. How accurate is a DNA test prior to the child being born if the mother is 13 weeks along?

My 91-year-old mother, who is on hospice and has severe osteoporosis, two hip replacements, a laparotomized stomach from severe gastritis, and likely lymphoma or gastric cancer, has developed an extensive, scaly, purplish, somewhat itchy genital rash extending from her vagina down her inner thighs and around her rectum. She has early satiety, drinks Chardonnay for pain, recently had a fall leading to a facial/sinus infection treated with Augmentin, and has long-standing hypertension and hypothyroidism. What could be causing this rash, and how can we alleviate her discomfort?
