I woke up with a constant, dull pain in my lower abdomen, above my pubic bone, that is making me feel nauseous. The pain has been consistent and woke me up from sleep. I am 30 years old, taking Dexilant for GERD and Tylenol. I've had similar cramps before but not this consistent. My period isn't due until the 17th, and I was previously diagnosed with a possible cyst. What could be causing this pain and what should I do?

I missed three pills of my birth control, and now I have a second period. Should I start a new pack over? I started using the new pack last night, and the bleeding has slowed down but is still ongoing. When should I expect the bleeding to stop?

I need to speak with someone about potential pregnancy. My last period was on May 11th, and I was off birth control from then until June 3rd. I am two days late. I got a faint line on an equate pregnancy test right away last night, which darkened overnight. Additionally, I have developed acne on my hairline and forehead over the past couple of days, which is unusual for me.

My wife, 47, had a CT scan, bloodwork, and ultrasound, which initially suggested a swollen/inflamed fallopian tube, possibly a cyst or abscess, but later identified as a tumor. The doctors plan to perform a laparoscopy. They mentioned that these masses are typically benign. How serious is this, and why would they not directly proceed to a laparotomy and hysterectomy if there was a high probability of malignancy?

I think I got salmonella poisoning after eating a burger with lettuce and tomatoes at 1am early Wednesday morning. I have had non-stop diarrhea, fever, chills, pain in my neck, back, and lower abdomen since then. The neck pain comes and goes and varies from sharp to dull and achy to stabbing. I take medicine for hypohydrosis and birth control. I am a 33-year-old female with no other medical problems. What should I do for this food poisoning and how can I manage the symptoms?
