I’m having a short period. My last period began on November 24, 2023. I had sex with my husband using the pull-out method on December 13, and my period started on time but was short. I’ve tested negative for pregnancy at home. What could be causing this and what should I do next?

I haven't had a period from August to October, and it's been 2 months. I had unprotected intercourse on November 18, and 6 days later, I started bleeding, which has continued for 9 days as spotting. The blood is pink when I wipe and brown when I use a pad. I'm trying to determine if I could be pregnant and if I need to take a test. Is something wrong, and what could be causing this bleeding?

I have had a period for nearly 4 weeks, with varying heaviness and clots, and tender breasts that lessen in tenderness as I release blood and clots. I am 46 years old, do not have severe cramps, but experience shortness of breath and fatigue. My periods were regular before the last three months when I didn't have one, and now this one has lasted 3 weeks. What could be going on?
