My HCG levels were at 4,000, then went down to 1000, and now they are at 340. I took a pregnancy test today and there is a faint line. Could I still be pregnant?

I have a lot of pregnancy symptoms such as heartburn, morning sickness, headaches, tender breasts, elevated body temperature, and frequent urination, but my pregnancy test came back negative. I am 23 years old, have been experiencing these symptoms for about two weeks, and my last period was August 7-9.
