Today, a forgotten tampon that must have been there for a few days came out. Was all of this because of the tampon? Do I still keep applying the cream? Am I at risk of developing Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS)?

I had an IUD removed in June and experienced slight bleeding a couple of weeks later. In July, I was prescribed prednisone for two months, which caused significant stress and emotional distress. Since stopping prednisone five months ago, I have not had a period. My doctors initially attributed this to the IUD, but I suspect it might be related to the prednisone. Now, I am on Methotrexate.
