I had also shaved and had night sweats in my vagina, making my private area sensitive. I am concerned that I may have gotten an STD. Other gynecologists have said it is a yeast infection, which I treated with Monistat 1, significantly helping the pain and discomfort. I also feel pain during sex. Should I get tested for herpes?
