I haven't had my menstrual cycle for over a year and my husband and I have been trying to conceive without success. I'm worried about my ability to get pregnant. Should I see a gynecologist for this, and if so, for what specific concerns or treatments?

I am 47 years old and have been experiencing irregular periods, including a skipped period this month, along with queasiness in my stomach. Could I be starting menopause, and is it still possible for me to get pregnant during this period?

I have been having preterm labor threats for two weeks. Dr. started me on procardia to help with them. Went in for a non-stress test yesterday and had a lot of irritability contractions lasting 30 seconds or more. They checked me and I was at 1 cm dilated with very little thickness. Now they sent me home as I'm only 36 weeks and not having the same cramping contractions I have had in the past, and I'm nauseated. Not sure if I need to go to the OB floor or just stick it out. What should I do?

I am planning to conceive and have several concerns: 1) Will my phobias, such as panic attacks in crowded places and fear of needles, affect my baby or increase the risk of Down syndrome? 2) If I need a blood test during pregnancy, can I use numbing cream like EMLA before the test, and will it affect the baby? 3) If I opt for a planned C-section to reduce anxiety, can I have light food before the procedure, especially to avoid triggering anxiety from an empty stomach?

I am a 48-year-old woman and have been bleeding for the last 33 days off and on. Should I be concerned? No pain, but also no insurance.
