I have had the Mirena IUD for almost 6 years. My periods have been very light, usually lasting 1-3 days with light spotting. However, this month I had no spotting at all, which is unusual for me. I took three pregnancy tests, all negative. Last month, my 'period' lasted over a week instead of the usual 1-3 days. Should I be concerned? What could cause this missed 'period'? Does the period disappear completely with long-term use of the same Mirena?
