My ex-girlfriend had an STD test before I met her. She went to an urgent care center complaining of vaginal pain. She had a different sex partner at that time. She had a lesion on her vaginal labia swabbed for herpes culture. The test was a rapid HSV culture. I am looking at the hospital lab results and it doesn’t say positive or negative. It does say the culture is ISOLATED. What does that mean? I think it means she tested positive but I’m not sure. Any clarity would be appreciated.

I am 39 to 40 days late on my cycle, have done at-home pregnancy tests that were negative, but have had prior pregnancy symptoms that didn't show positive until 13 weeks. I have experienced fatigue, mood swings, nausea, cravings, increased hunger, and slight brown spotting. Should I continue to wait and see, or is there a more accurate test I should take?

I’ve been bleeding for 20 days now and 10 weeks pregnant. The baby is still fine based on the ultrasound. Is it normal to bleed like that, and what should I do about the bleeding?

I have had two periods a month for the past two months. My period ended a day and a half ago, and I suddenly have pelvic cramps again. I experience cramping every period, usually right before the period and sometimes through the second day. My last period was from the 19th to the 23rd, and it usually comes regularly during those dates, but now I've been having bleeding at the start of the month as well—mostly brown in the beginning and then turns red, lasting roughly 3 days. I'm currently using Tylenol for cramps and am 21 years old. I am sexually active with condoms and have no vaginal discharge. I have never gotten two periods before, which is unusual, and I don't usually get cramps after the actual period is over, but now I have them. Is it possible that it's an ovarian cyst? How would I know if I had one?

I recently finished antibiotics for a UTI, but my pain has worsened. I believe it might be gynecological due to lower abdominal pain on both sides, irregular and heavy periods. The pain fluctuates and becomes severely painful at times. What could be causing this and what should I do?

I've been experiencing brownish discharge and occasional itching, with no burning sensation. I used anti-itch cream which helped, but I'm concerned if this could be an STD or a yeast infection. I had unprotected sex a few weeks ago and have a history of Chlamydia. What could be causing this and what should I do?
