I switched to a new birth control (lower estrogen) about 7 months ago and my periods have become lighter, which my doctor said is normal. They weren’t really heavy to begin with but now I barely bleed. My period just started Monday and I noticed more of a brown discharge then usual. It’s a bit tacky too. That was brief and then I’ve only really had spotting since then. Is this normal? No pain other than normal period cramping. I’m 37.

Her HCG levels have been increasing, but the recent growth over two days is close to 30%, which is less than the expected doubling every 48 to 96 hours.
