I am on my period and have heavy blood flow with blood clots for the past 2 days. I am not using any contraceptives or medications, I am 32 years old, and I have a history of PCOS. My periods were regular before this, and I have not had this heavy flow before. I have been experiencing back and leg pain but not much lower stomach pain. I have not gained weight recently, my diet and exercise routine have not changed, and I have been slightly stressed. I had sexual intercourse recently and have not had recent Pap smear, STD testing, or pelvic ultrasound. I am not allergic to any medication. What could be causing this heavy bleeding, and what should I do?

I got my period on November 8 and it stopped on the 13th. Today, I noticed pink/brown/red discharge, which started thick and now is very light pink/brown. I have a slight headache and felt slight cramping before the discharge began. Is this normal, just spotting, or old blood coming out?

I went to the doctor's office last month, took a pregnancy test which came out negative, and started birth control pills on the following Sunday. I had my period last month on the 12th, and now I'm waiting for it. My periods are irregular because I used to take Plan B before starting birth control. I get my period on the 12th, 23rd, or 29th of the month. I just finished one packet of the pills, and the last week of the first package had green pills. I started a new pack on Monday the 13th. I would like to know when I will get my period and if I should be concerned about my irregular periods.
