I am trying to conceive and had sex around ovulation. A week later, I experienced light brown discharge for 4 days, which turned into more noticeable bleeding on the 5th day, 6 days before my period is due. The bleeding stopped after an hour. I tested negative for pregnancy, and the bleeding seems longer than typical implantation bleeding. What could be causing this bleeding, and should I be concerned?

I've experienced pregnancy symptoms for about 5 weeks now, despite having an IUD for two years and not having a period since its insertion. What other reasons could there be for missing a period (or possibly even two) besides pregnancy? My periods are usually irregular, but last month I didn't get one and I haven't had one this month. I've taken three home pregnancy tests, all of which were negative. I haven't had any symptoms of pregnancy other than the missed period. I've read that stress and changes in diet can delay periods, and I agree that I've been under a lot of stress and have been eating more fast food than usual.
