What is the normal growth of the yolk sac and when does it stop growing? I am currently 8 weeks 1 day, had an ultrasound today and was told the heart rate was very good at 169, length was exactly on for dates, but that my yolk sac which was 5.7 at 6 weeks 6 days is now 7.1 at 8 weeks 1 day. I am worried because I know a large yolk sac can indicate chromosomal abnormalities. How worried should I be?

Last year, for two months, I didn't get my period. I took a pregnancy test that was negative, and my GP sent my urine to the lab, which showed a borderline pregnancy test.
