I have genital herpes and haven't had an outbreak in 8 years. Recently, I experienced itching, soreness, swelling, and discharge, which took over 2 weeks to develop. I've been taking Valtrex and using ice, baths, and ibuprofen. Is it normal to have discharge with genital herpes, and could it be another STD despite my partner's recent negative tests for gonorrhea, chlamydia, and syphilis?

I had a clump of bloody EWCM 3 days before ovulation. It was brown blood, and I've never experienced anything like it. I am 37 years old, have PCOS, and have had 2 very early miscarriages.
