My gross adjusted income in 2019 was about $22,000. I filed using TurboTax, but something went wrong, and the form said I owe $1.8 million instead of getting a refund of $746. I signed and submitted it electronically, and the IRS tried to withdraw $1.8 million from my account. I thought I owed $1,800. TurboTax helped me file an amended return, which I printed and mailed to the IRS.
