I am a tax pro and I have a client who worked as an employee in an African Country and made over $100k. He was not gone over a year, was not paid by an American Company, and there is no W2. I have his income paid and the taxes he paid to the country. I used Intuit Pro Series software. How do I enter his employee out of country income on his tax return? What do I need to look for as far as additional savings and deductions?

Our 25-year-old daughter, who lives with us, started working last year and earned $10,000. We have been told that we cannot claim her as a dependent for 2017. She was on our ACA account all year and did not get her own coverage when she started working. Is there a way to transfer (allocate?) premiums and credits from our 1040 to hers?

I filed as single last year and got married in August 2018. I legally changed my name with the SSA but didn't inform the IRS. My W-2s have my maiden name, and I plan to file jointly with my husband for tax year 2017. Should I use my maiden name or married name when filing, and is it advisable to cross out my maiden name on the W-2 and write in my married name since the SSA has my married name in its database?
