I will be getting a refund for my California state tax and owe $19 to Indiana. I plan to file them on Monday. Would this be an issue from my immigration standpoint as I'm on an H1B visa? Should I file for an extension, and is it true that missing the state tax deadline automatically extends the filing period for both states?
