I filed for Chapter 13 bankruptcy in August and still can't make ends meet. I owe more on my house than it's worth. I have a first and second mortgage. If I foreclose, can they attach my wages? Can I drop the Chapter 13 and just work out a payment plan with my creditors?

My ex owes me and my two kids over $10,000 in child support arrears. Our divorce agreement, which is a court order, states that we each claim one child for our taxes. Since he is behind on support, can I claim both children for tax purposes? He pays his monthly obligation but hasn't addressed the back support. I live in MA with the kids, and he lives in TX.

The house we're buying has been waiting for us to close on my current home. Due to the slow activity of Bank Of America, the buyer for my home has not been approved for her mortgage. We think we will miss the June 30th date to get the $6500 tax credit. This appears to be a nationwide problem. Has anything been done to extend the June 30th date to protect those that followed the rules?

My husband worked for a small company and never received check stubs. His W-2 shows more income than he received, possibly due to travel expenses being added to his wages. We only have records of direct deposits from the bank. What can we do about this discrepancy?
