My 2020 tax return accidentally has a random name as my spouse’s name due to an accountant error. I caught this after filing and am guessing I will need to submit an amended tax form. Will this pose an issue during the consular interview, or will showing the amended tax form be sufficient? I am mainly concerned because the spouse name is incorrect.

If I move into a continuing care community (independent living) and pay a monthly fee of $1,600, which includes taxes, what is left to declare for tax purposes? I don't have a mortgage and have a pension of $35,000 and Social Security of $20,000. I previously paid $4,000 in state and federal taxes over the last two years.
