For 2022, I received special security income of $30,914 and pension income totaling $3,376. The state of Ohio held $24 in taxes from my pension, and the Feds held nothing from my SS. I am 68 years old, unmarried, and have no dependents. My total income was $34,290. Is my SS taxable? Do I need to file a federal return? Do I need to file a state return?

I need to print my W-2 for the 2021/2022 fiscal year from Paylocity. I am concerned about Federal tax deductions and want to ensure that the correct amount is being withheld for future tax purposes. How can I verify the withholdings and ensure I don't owe taxes at the end of the year?

Filing taxes this year with my wife, married filing joint. She usually gets a refund since she has 3 dependents. If I get a refund, it will go to child support arrears. I don't want my wife's refund to go to my debt. Is she considered the injured spouse, and do we need to fill out Part III on the Form 8379?
