Hello, I would like to set up an appointment to arrange installment payments. I am currently located in Mission Hills, CA, aged 70 with no dependents. I typically file with H&R Block. Is there anything else the Accountant should know before I connect you?

I received three voluminous letters from the IRS that I don't understand. I was expecting a $1267 refund for tax year 2021, but the IRS sent only $467. The recorded line mentioned incorrect dependent names, but I am 81 years old and have no dependents. The IRS also mentioned other reasons for changing my filings. They owe me $800. Can you help? If not, can you provide a list of IRS offices with phone numbers for me to make an appointment? I have spent hours on the IRS website and called many numbers, but no one can help. Is there anything else the Accountant should know before I connect you?

I am the personal representative for a pension that my mother had. The insurance company is requiring me to fill out a W9 form. I have an EIN number. On the first part of the form, I don't know if I should put my personal name or my name as a personal representative of the estate. Do I put my address, city, and ZIP Code on this form, or is there something else I should be putting on it?

I have not received my tax refunds for 2020 and 2021. I am 81 years old, my husband is 83, and we file jointly. Our annual income from pensions is $16,589.00. When did I file my 2020 and 2021 tax returns, and was it done electronically or by mail? Do I have an online IRS account?

I received a check in the mail today from the United States Treasury for $2643.12, marked as a tax refund. Is this a real check, especially since I have already filed my 2021 taxes and received a refund last February?

I received a notice for payment of my 2021 taxes, but I already made two coupon payments that have been cashed. The billing summary is incorrect, showing an amount due that doesn't match my original tax bill and payments. What should I do about this notice, and how can I resolve the discrepancy with the IRS?
