How do I apply for the 3rd stimulus check?

I only received a $600 stimulus check last year due to my income and $0 this year. Now, the program is trying to give me $1200 on my 2020 tax return, which I feel is incorrect. My income was over $75,000 in 2019 but much less in 2020. Why am I getting $1200 now?

I have a pending stimulus check for $2800, but I should only have $1400. Is the other $1400 supposed to be for my son? I claimed him for several years because he was living with me, but he no longer does, and I will not be claiming him for my 2020 return. He is on S.S. disability and has not received any of the stimulus checks. Can I just transfer this extra $1400 to him or is that going to mess me up when I file my taxes this year? Please advise.

My husband and I received our stimulus checks in different ways: his was deposited to his Direct Express card, and mine was deposited to my checking account. We are both disabled and haven't filed taxes in years. My husband passed away on January 22, 2021. What do I need to do to receive his stimulus money directly deposited into my account?
