We received a notice that we owe a large amount on our 2020 taxes due to information from financial institutions not matching the return. My husband, who did the returns with TurboTax, is now in a nursing facility and can't help. I need a copy of the documentation to compare with what I found in his file. I think I may need a time extension on this since the accountants are so busy with this year's taxes. When did you receive the notice? Have you received notices like this in the past? Is there anything else the Accountant should know before I connect you?

I filed my 2021 taxes and received my 2021 tax return. I added a dependent for last year and had health insurance via the health insurance market. Why did I get a tax return when I didn't submit the appropriate tax form? I heard that I needed to submit a specific tax form because I have health insurance through the marketplace. Will I be penalized in some way next year or will the IRS charge me the atc?
