I am 64 years old and was told I am not eligible to collect 50% of my ex-husband's Social Security benefit at this age. I thought I could collect his benefit until I reach my full retirement age (66 1/2) and then collect my own benefit. What are my options for collecting benefits?

I have not received my second stimulus check, even though I received the first one without any issues via direct deposit. I receive Social Security disability benefits and filed a 2019 tax return. My account status for the stimulus payment keeps showing as 'not available'. Where else can I look or what else can I do?

I received a CP14 notice from the IRS, but my IRS account shows a zero balance. I have already paid all the taxes I owed for 2019. What does this notice mean, and what should I do about it?

Regarding stimulus payments, if a dependent who was claimed in 2019 is no longer a dependent in 2020 and files their own tax return, will they be eligible to receive the stimulus payment based on their 2020 tax return?

We were paying life insurance for an employee who has now become a subcontractor. How can we remedy this on our books? Can it be tax deductible? Would we need to charge him back?

I was told I would be charged $1 for an answer, but I ended up providing my credit card number to JustAnswer. What is my current age and retirement age, and is there anything else the Social Security Expert should know before I am connected?
