I am a CPA in California and need guidance on CA tax law regarding missionaries receiving 1099s from a funding organization in CA. The missionaries work overseas, but CA wants to tax them. Is this an area you cover, and if not, do you know of any other states that might offer similar information?

I believe fraud was committed. I received a form from the Department of Labor for unemployment insurance with my correct information, including my SS number. I have never filed for unemployment insurance. What should I do?

We received a 1099-R form from Vanguard. The form is addressed to the Estate of, and we have an EIN for the estate. Do I file this on our personal income tax or do I file taxes on the estate using the EIN number?
