I am a married farmer with a spouse who has W-2 income. How should I file our taxes, and do we need to file a 1065 or any other specific forms like Schedule F or Schedule C?

I have a taxpayer and his spouse who are both deceased. The taxpayer passed away on 4/17/2020 and the spouse on 10/13/2020. They received the first stimulus payment but not the second. I am unsure what to enter on the recovery rebate form for the second stimulus. What should I enter?

My daughter passed away last year, and her children still live with me. I provide all their care, including medical, and receive survivors benefits for them. Am I able to claim both children? The father is not involved in their care, but I worry he might try to claim them now that my daughter is deceased.

I have permanent residency in North Carolina and plan on selling this residence and moving to a house that I own in Pennsylvania. Can I sell the NC house tax-free? I have lived in NC since 2017 and plan on selling in 2024. For tax purposes, I consider PA as my home even though all my registrations are in NC, including vehicle, voting, and driver's license.

Do I pay Capital Gain on my mother's home sale that had my name on the deed? I am 77 and my wife is 63 -- both retired. The home was acquired in 2001 for $20,000 and sold in Jan. 2021 for $120,000. My daughter is also listed on the deed. Only my mother lived there.
