I am considering forming an LLC for my executive recruiting business in California. I work within a larger recruiting company where others have LLCs, and I earn payment based on commission. I am unsure if I should form an LLC or remain a sole proprietor. Additionally, I pay into the company for specialized recruiting software and other expenses. Can I deduct these expenses on my taxes, and is there a limit to these deductions?
