I am receiving US Social Security benefits under Survivor Benefits through my ex-husband. I received a letter stating that my benefits will be cut off for a year due to an overpayment of $27,000 to my ex-husband during our divorce years (2014-2016). I have no knowledge of this overpayment. What should I do to appeal this decision, and do I have a strong case?

When you pay for health insurance for your employees, do you need to add it to their payroll and deduct FICA tax? Additionally, if it is for a 2% more shareholder, how should it be reported on the W-2, and what code should be used for such medical insurance payments to ensure it is not included in Boxes 3 and 5, and how to report it so that it will not be considered for unemployment insurance?
