I bought and sold about 5 parcels of rural vacant land in San Bernardino County, CA last year. These were quick flips, none of the properties were held for more than a year. It was my first time buying and selling property, so it's going to be my first time filing for taxes for this kind of thing. I don't know what forms are needed or anything. Please help.

My refund was deducted by almost 2000 for “past due IRS obligations” but I’ve never had a W-2 or filed before this year and I want to know what it was for. Which tax year is this for? Anything else you want the Accountant to know before I connect you?

I came to the USA on 10th March 2013 and stayed here till the end of 2013. My wife stayed abroad the entire year. We are considering using 6013(g) election to file married filing jointly and include my non-resident alien spouse in the joint return. As I was a non-resident at the beginning of the year and became a resident starting 10th March, do I need to include a separate 6013(h) election statement, or would just the 6013(g) election suffice?
