I had a premature IRA distribution and the 10% penalty on my tax return seems incorrect. Line 23 shows $2000, but I only took a $10,000 distribution, so the penalty should be $1000. The 1099-Rs are correct. I retired early and used the funds for living expenses. I had 401k rollovers from different places, with two 1099-Rs, one premature and one normal. It looks like the premature distribution is being doubled. I already filed my return before noticing this issue.

I need a pin code for my taxes. My taxes were filed online in January. I am located in Abilene, TX, I am 65 years old, have no dependents, and my typical filing status is 43505. My 6ax4s are filed, and all I need is the pin code.

What form is needed to file a tax extension, and is there a reasonable cause for filing late (e.g., hardship or mistake in filing)?

I am disabled and have been receiving income from Unum disability insurance. I recently won my SSDI case, but all the pay goes to the insurance company, not to me. I can only make what they pay me and no more. I have filed taxes for it every year. They just contacted me about the SSDI money, and I have stacks of checks I was too afraid to cash. How do I deal with the taxes on this, especially since I don't get any of the money and can't afford the taxes? I rely on my tax return every year as a disabled, newly single mother of three.

I am filing my 2022 taxes and need to know how to answer the question regarding serving in the military. I served during the late 1950s and early 60s. How does this apply to me?
