I have a 50k loan at 5.75% payable over the next 5 years. I can now withdraw from my 401k without penalty, but I will have to pay taxes on the withdrawal. Should I withdraw and pay off the loan?

If I owe over $14,000 to the government, would they accept payments of $100 a month? I am 57 years old, located in Pierce, Nebraska, have no dependents, and made around $14,000 this year. I haven't filed taxes for 2015, 2016, and 2020, and I'm considering options like getting my debt reduced to nothing through a lawyer or making monthly payments to the IRS.

I sold my home for $495,000 and received a settlement check of $363,000 after paying off the mortgage, realtor fees, and other expenses. The home value was listed on the Inventory Form 1670 as $369,000. Should I list the sale of the home as a gain of $132,000 and include the mortgage payoff and other expenses under disbursements, or list it as a $6,000 loss based on the settlement check amount?
