I have a question about the residential solar tax credit. I am 65 years old, married filing jointly, and made $50K this year. I owe back taxes of $10K and am on a payment plan. I am installing solar on my house and will qualify for a $15K tax credit. Can I apply this credit to my balance? If so, how?

I am 65 years old and considering going part-time. I have not yet started receiving Social Security and have been working for the past 10 years. My husband and I have income from other sources. What is the limit on how much I can make without reducing my Social Security benefits?

I filed my 2021 tax return with TurboTax and claimed a $1400 stimulus check that I did not receive. TurboTax subtracted my tax amount of $457 from the $1400 stimulus, resulting in a supposed refund of $943. However, the IRS sent me a bill for $457.85 instead. I paid the bill out of fear but have been unable to contact the IRS for a refund. I paid extra for auditing help through TurboTax. Can you help me resolve this issue?

I arrived in the US on a non-immigrant visa in February 2022 (K1 fiancé) and have now applied for a green card which I don't expect to get until 2023. I will be substantially present in the US in 2022. Do I have to declare my foreign UK income from January 2022 when I was not residing in the US?

I have filed with the IRS each year for the last few years using Turbo Tax. We have gotten confused as to what we owe due to government assistance money and due to my wife & I being retired. Money isn't getting withheld, so we are confused. I am concerned about how the stimulus payments impacted our reported income for 2019, 2020, and 2021.
