I have been granted withholding of removal about 20 years ago and have been renewing my work permit each year without problem. I am 61. Will I be able to receive social security at 62? I am not a permanent resident and no green card. I have worked in the US for about 15-20 years and paid FICA withholding during those years.

I am a real estate agent in Washington state with an S-CORP and an income of $70,000-$90,000 from real estate commissions. I need to trade in my leased SUV with high mileage for a new work vehicle. Is it advantageous to buy a truck or SUV over 6000 pounds to take advantage of the Section 179 write-off, and how does this differ if the vehicle is under 6000 pounds? Does it matter if I use a car loan for the purchase?

If I filed my company as an LLC, can I go back and file it as a partnership or corporation, and make it retroactive to the same date as the LLC filing? What steps do I need to take, and can this be done online or do I need to make an appointment with the IRS?
