I have a net operating loss (NOL) on my 2019 and 2020 1040 tax returns and need guidance on whether I can carry back my 2019 NOL now even though I filed the 2019 return in April 2020, how to calculate the reduction in the years the loss is carried back to, and whether it is worth it to carry the loss back rather than forward. Additionally, I need to know if my IRA contributions will be affected if I carry back the loss.

I haven't received my taxes yet. I am located in South Africa, 23 years old, with no dependents, and made approximately $615 this year. I have checked my refund status online and it shows that my tax has been sent, but I haven't received any of it. I have also tried contacting the IRS but have not been able to get through. What should I do?

I received one or maybe two checks at the beginning and have not received any more. I am wondering why I didn't receive any other. I live at Woodland Terrace in Carmel, IN, I am 86 years old, do not have dependents, and have an annuity and another investment. I filed taxes each year, and H&R Block did them the last few years. I was told I didn't need to file anymore as I didn't make much money. What should I do to understand why I haven't received additional checks?
