I would like to speak with a worker of the IRS about my stimulus check. I was told that my second stimulus check was sent out on January 4th, 2021, but I have not received it in my account. I changed my account to a new one about a month and a half ago. Did I receive the first stimulus check by direct deposit or mail?

I have not received my second stimulus check, which was sent out on January 4. I was told it went to Meta Bank, but I have direct deposit set up and had no issues with the first stimulus check or my tax refund. I contacted the IRS, and they couldn't provide a reason for the delay. I was informed that if I don't receive it by the end of the month, I would have to wait until I file my taxes. Why is this happening, and what can I do?
