My mother passed away on January 25th, 2021. TurboTax indicates that I need to file Form 1310 to claim her $1020 refund as her personal representative. I am 67 years old, file jointly with my husband, and my mother was 91 with no dependents. I have not yet filed our taxes for the year, and our last year's AGI was $44,396 with taxable income of $17,396. Will this refund be considered income to me for 2021, and what documentation do I need to provide?
