On the Turbo Tax electronic filing form, there is a requirement for the PAYEE'S ID number for Social Security. However, on the Social Security form, I cannot find any indication of this number. With 60 million Americans on Social Security, I would expect Turbo Tax to know that Social Security is a well-known payor and not require this number. The program will not allow me to file electronically without this number. What have I tried with Turbo Tax so far? I have used Turbo Tax for years, but this is the first time they have required this information. I have paid $160, and now I cannot file because they need an ID number that no one seems to know.

I filed my income tax electronically on March 8 or 9 and haven't received my refund yet. I am 66 years old, single, with no dependents, and my refund was expected to be $1421. I am also wondering about the status of my COVID check. What should I do and is there any delay in processing my refund or COVID check due to my tax return not being processed yet?

I filed my stimulus check through H&R Block online and should have received it within 21 days, but it's been over three months. The IRS website says it's still processing. I haven't worked or filed taxes since 2014 and have no income. What could be the issue and how can I get help to ensure my application is correct?

I have been told by multiple tax supervisors and IRS personnel that I do not have to pay any income taxes because I am 100% disabled due to prostate cancer resulting from military service. I received the first and second stimulus checks but have not received the third one. What should I do to get the third stimulus check?

I donated Microsoft stock options in 2020 that I had purchased through my brokerage. These were not given to me by my employer. I am required to report the fair value of the stock option on the day of transfer for tax purposes. Since the price fluctuates, how do I calculate the 'fair value' of the stock options? Should I take the average of the maximum and minimum price on the day of transfer, as is done for stock donations?
