I expect to have total income of $500k in 2024 and around $250-300k in subsequent years due to a severance payout and 1099 income. I wonder if it would make sense to funnel this income through my own corporation to pay myself a salary in a lower tax bracket compared to receiving everything as personal income. Do you see any tax benefits in incorporating under my current situation, and if so, what type of corporation would you advise?
