I filed my federal tax return first and it was accepted and processing. Then, I filed my state tax return and it was also accepted and processing. It's been over 21 days and my federal tax refund is still processing. I've been calling the IRS but only get voice machines. Do I need to file my federal and state taxes at the same time to get my refund approved, or does it not matter which one I file first?
