I need replacement W-2 forms from Walmart #1292 for the period from September 35, 2014 to December 2021, which were damaged in a flood. I have the 2022 and 2023 forms. My mailing address was changed on March 16, 2022, but Walmart still has my old PO Box 6484 in Christiansburg, VA. I am 75 years old, live alone, and lost vision on February 26, 2022. My typical filing status is single, and I made $17,000 in 2023, working as a dishwasher at Blacksburg Middle School from November 10, 2022 to May 24, 2023, and at Walmart from July 2, 2022 until December 31, 2022. I had emergency care and surgery for a detached torn retina on February 26, 2022, and was not released to drive until mid-April 2022. My groin hernia surgery was delayed until May 6, 2022. Walmart HR denied my short-term disability claim for half of 2022, stating that the hours worked in 2021 were approved by salaried managers and not counted in the system, thus denying any pay from January 2022 until I was released to work on July 2, 2022. Is there anything else the accountant should know before connecting?
